Mangiamos has such beautiful foods, salads and breads. The little market has such a nicely curated selection of Italian things, like fresh sauce and pastas. Btw- even though I think regular old turkey deli sandwiches are not their main thing- the basic deli sandwich on a roll here is better than anywhere else in the area- fresher, thicker, and fairly priced. Go here.

Probably the best sandwich in Long Island... all the ingredients were fresh and the focaccia bread is amazing. Good prices too. Would recommend this place if you want a good filling sandwich.
I needed a family size pasta salad but they didn't have it in their options so I asked if they could put one together for me and I just picked the add ons and they made a beautiful pasta salad in less than 5 mins!!
I love a good sandwich. I tried the MVP with breaded chicken, mozzarella cheese, basil, pesto, and Vodka sauce. Definitely a messy sandwich,but is was so good. The rainbow cookies are amazing as well. I will definitely be a returning customer.
When stepping into Mangiamo, you're greeted by Italian snacks and drinks, mainly stuff that isn't common in America. The fresh baked bread is something difficult to miss as the aroma sweeps you off your feet when entering the shop. They have a nice selection of different bound salads and other deli service foods as well as a hot bar for lunch. Every time I go to Mangiamo, I feel like a king. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They make the best sandwiches on the island but they also have excellent catering services. I cannot recommend this place enough. Recommendation - H7 (Breaded chicken cutlet, avocado, Swiss, tomato, hot peppers and Herb mayo) Substitute Swiss with Pepper Jack or Provolone
Good place to get a sandwich. I've been here a few times for to-go orders and they do not disappoint in terms of their promptness and consistency. If you want an italian deli type of sandwich (Hot and cold), you'll want to come here! Strength is the bread that houses their sandwiches, always fresh and goes very well with their ingredients. Portion price ratio-wise, comparable if not slightly better compared to competitors such as Seport Deli and typical Jersey Mike's. Will come back and also may modify review based on other things on the menu/shop itself. This is an italian deli in a grocery store that sells many different market items that are good if you want to have a picnic lunch or dinner party. Call for pick-up and they typically take 15-20 minutes, and have never been late with their orders. I've tried several of their sandwiches. First I've had their #35 Prociutta de Parma. Very solid taste, with a good mix of moisture, savory saltiness, and not too oily as these sandwiches can be. # 1 Mangiamo Special. Similar to other italian sandwiches, very filling and full of meat. Slightly on the drier side but overall great. # H-1 Hot Breaded Parmigiano hero. Good chicken cutlet-like sandwich, my preference is for more bold tomato flavors and more sauce but this is a modification I'll ask for on re-visits.
Super solid spot that reminded me of the pork store I frequented growing up in Queens. I ordered sandwiches for pickup while spending time at my friend's house after spotting them in a search. I offered to pick up the sandwiches on the way so I was surprised when calling and ordering that they would only take 10 mins to make. That was super quick! My son accompanied me on the visit and charmed the woman behind the counter into getting an Italian cookie which he housed down in a second flat. I take it he would give the place 5 stars. The All American (#3) looked good and was a nice size. I had the #36 Proscuitto di Parma. It was super tasty, I only wish there was a tad more balsamic glaze. Thinking about making this the lunch pickup spot when in the area. They also have a ton of imported items to purchase and ready to eat entrees to take home. Awesome addition to the area!
